|Evelyn M. Haertter-Braunstein, 89, of Telford, Hatfield, and Lansdale, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, in Paradise Manor, Hatfield. She was the wife of the late Isidore Braunstein, and the late William Hoyt Haertter.
Born in Pillow, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ella (Brosious) Gessner.
She was employed as a computer operator in cost accounting for Merrill Y. Landis, Ltd. in Telford prior to her retirement. In her earlier years, she worked in accounts payable in the office of Rosenberger Dairies in Hatfield.
Mrs. Braunstein was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hatfield where she loved teaching the pre-K Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Reliance Chapter 503, joining in 1948.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Klock of Phoenixville, two grandchildren: David Klock of Norristown, and Kimberly Landis and her husband Dewey of Kutztown, as well as her nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Gessner and a sister, Shirley Brennen.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11 AM in the Grace Lutheran Church, 25 W. Broad St., P O Box 57, Hatfield, PA 19440. Interment will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Grace Lutheran Church at the above address. Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.
