Elwood Clymer, 96, of East Rockhill Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his sonís home in Souderton. He was the husband of the late Helen (Baker) Clymer.

Born in East Rockhill Twp., he was a son of the late John S. and Emma (Althouse) Clymer.

He was employed as a Fuel Oil Delivery driver for the former Penneco Co. for more than 40 years prior to his retirement in 1982.

Mr. Clymer was a life-long member of St. Peterís Tohickon UCC, Perkasie, for his entire 96 years, where he was a caretaker and member of the cemetery committee. An avid hunter, he was a charter member of the former North Penn Sportsmen Hunting Camp of Bradford County, Pa, and the Paletown Fish and Game.

He is survived by a son, Jim Clymer and his wife Barbara of Souderton, two daughters: Romaine Thrapp of Quakertown, Brenda Chernikovich and her husband Ray of Sellersville, 8 grandchildren: James, Sandy, Wendy, Tracy, Karen, Dan, Eric and Patty, 15 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, and two sisters: Dorothy Dorn and Edith Baker, both of Telford.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11 AM in the St. Peterís Tohickon UCC Church, 1050 Old Bethlehem Road, Perkasie, PA 18944. Interment will follow in Tohickon Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday evening, December 1, from 6-8 PM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, and again on Monday at the church from 10-11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Peterís Tohickon UCC at the above address. Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.
